
Former Fluminense and Botafogo player Antônio Manfrini Neto, better known as Manfrini, died this Wednesday (12/10), at the age of 75. The causes of death have not been disclosed.
The midfielder became known thanks to his time at Tricolor, where he was a double champion of the Campeonato Carioca in 1973, when he scored twice in the final, and in 1975. For the Laranjeiras club, the athlete played 157 matches and scored 62 goals.

Manfrini also played for Ponte Preta, where he was revealed, for Palmeiras and Juventus da Mooca.
