Madrid, December 6 (EFE). – Four people have lost their lives in the four fatal accidents recorded on the roads from 3 p.m. last Friday, when the special traffic facility was put into operation on the occasion of the Constitution Bridge, until 8:00 p.m. this Saturday.
Three people were injured in these accidents, one of them seriously, as the General Directorate of Transport (DGT) informed EFE.
On Friday, two accidents with two fatalities and one seriously injured and one slightly injured occurred since 3 p.m., while this Saturday until 8 p.m. two further accidents also resulted in two deaths and one slightly injured.
To ensure safety on the roads, the DGT introduced the special traffic regulation last Friday at 3:00 p.m., which will be active until midnight on Monday, December 8th. During this period, 5.7 million road trips are expected to be made. EFE
