France has taken note of Russia’s openness to negotiations with French President Emmanuel Macron and will define the “best way to proceed” in the coming days, the presidential office at the Elysée in Paris said on Sunday.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin was ready to talk with Macron if there was mutual political will, in comments published by the RIA news agency on Sunday.
