Briton Lando Norris, one of the three contenders for the Formula 1 world title, achieved the best time today, Friday, in the second free practice session. The McLaren driver, who was already fastest in the first session, once again outperformed his main title rival, Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull), II. The drivers are separated by more than three-tenths of a second; Australian Oscar Piastri (McLaren), the other candidate, only achieved eleventh place, more than half a second behind his colleague Norris.
