Early in the morning, around 12:30 a.m., a call arrived at the National Police office in Medina del Campo (Valladolid) demanding the presence of agents in a house where there were a fight between two people that, at … Apparently they had knives.
Upon arriving and entering the home, police discovered there was a man in the living room with cuts to one of his hands. Opposite, another threatened with a knife. “Immediately”, the uniformed police officers disarmed the alleged attacker, “thus guaranteeing the safety of those present”, as reported this Monday by the National Police in a press release published by the Government Sub-delegation in Valladolid.
According to another resident of the home, the two men had started an argument -for reasons that have not been revealed- and the man finally arrested brandished everything within his reach to threaten the victim: from a pair of scissors to a screwdriver to a dagger with 44 centimeter blade.
The weapons seized, he was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of crime of wounding and another of threats with a knife for certain events that occurred early in the morning of December 3 and which ended with the two men at the health center. The alleged attacker was treated for apparently minor injuries to his face and hand before being transferred to the police station and presented to the court, which ordered his release with charge.
The victim went to Medina del Campo Hospital, where three stitches were performed on one hand.
