From coconut water and caipirinhas to corn and shrimp on the beach, how much will Argentines pay this summer?
Brazil is preparing for life one of the best seasons in history.
The numbers reflect this trend in the travel industry, as they only traveled to Brazil between January and October 2025 7.68 million foreign visitors.
According to the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion (Embratur), this is the “highest number recorded in the first ten months of the year.”
In this context Argentina remains the most important tourist market towards the beaches of Brazil, with almost 3 million visitors until October, representing a growth of 85.46% compared to the same period in 2024.
Contrary to the promising forecasts for summer in general, Rio de Janeiro is one of the gateways to the neighboring country and at the same time one of the most popular holiday destinations.

Why do Argentinians enjoy Brazil in general and Rio in particular so much?
Speaking to Clarín, Charly says: “We have the football rivalry, but beyond that they are two brother countries who love each other very much. The Argentine loves the joy of the Brazilian, and the Brazilian loves the passion of the Argentine. Anyone who comes here takes with them very good memories and wants to go back.”
