Even though he was detained in the Minas Gerais prison system, Olessandro Silva dos Santos, known as Gás, remained at the center of drug trafficking negotiations that crossed states and supplied different cities.
According to documents from the Organized Crime Investigation Group (Gaeco), obtained by Metropoliseshe led the negotiations from the Ponte Nova prison complex, maintaining contact with criminals inside São Paulo to guarantee the acquisition and transfer of drugs.
Messages intercepted by police indicate that the incarceration did not interrupt his activities. Olessandro continued to organize purchases, set values, and order deliveries, using middlemen to move the drugs outside the prison walls.

The link with São Paulo
In this stream, Gesiel dos Santos Monteiro, Olessandro’s nephew, appears as a key player. Having ties to the state of São Paulo, he was responsible for acquiring the drug outside Minas Gerais and transmitting it to the other members of the project. The conversations show Gesiel acting as a supplier and logistics operator, negotiating prices, deadlines and quantities.
In one of the exchanges highlighted in the investigation, Olessandro asks his nephew for “help” to make the operation possible. Gesiel responds by affirming that he already has the “material” and specifies the value per kilo, emphasizing the direct negotiation of cocaine in its purest state, treated as “export” in the dialogues.
Short orders, continuous activity
The dialogues reveal a dynamic marked by objective commands and encrypted language. Even though he was imprisoned in the Minas Gerais prison complex, Olessandro closely monitored sales developments and demanded alignment with other members of the group, determining to whom drugs should be delivered and under what conditions.
The messages also show discussions about values, complaints about non-compliance with prices and adjustments in payment conditions, indicating that the traffic continued to operate as a regular activity, with conflicts and renegotiations typical of any trade, in this case illegal.

SP partner entry
At the same time, the investigation describes the role of Lucas Henrique Rocha Pereira as one of those responsible for drug distribution inside São Paulo. He – designated as a partner of a prominent Comando Vermelho leader in São Paulo – appears to be responsible for receiving and paying for the drugs sent, using other individuals to handle them and keep the network functioning.
Like Olessandro, Lucas maintained active participation even after being arrested in Minas Gerais, precisely for his involvement in sending drugs to that state, according to case documents.
The partnership with CV in Rio Claro
Lucas worked in direct partnership with Leonardo Felipe Panono Scupin Calixto, the Goat, leader of the CV inside São Paulo, as revealed by Metropolises. According to the São Paulo Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPSP), Bode performed the same functions as Lucas, as owner and distributor of ready-to-use drugs, maintaining constant contact with him to deal with trafficking.
Bode was baptized CV, in the territory of Rio de Janeiro, and began to be described as the main name of the Rio Claro faction, inside São Paulo, assuming a local leadership role and guaranteeing the continuity of criminal activities.
He is still at large and, according to the veiled service of the São Paulo Military Police, he would be in the custody of the CV in Rio de Janeiro, after his death was decreed by the First Command of the Capital (PCC), following the conflict over drug trafficking in Rio Claro and the region, which left a trail of blood, with victims on both sides.
A diagram that ignores grids and boundaries
The investigation concludes that the trafficking described in the process took place in an integrated manner, connecting the Ponte Nova prison complex, suppliers with access to São Paulo, and distributors from within São Paulo.
The leading role of Olessandro Silva dos Santos, even in prison, the operational role of Gesiel, the performance of Lucas Henrique and the local leadership attributed to Bode demonstrate, according to the researchers, the adaptability of the organization.
For Gaeco, the case illustrates how the drug trade continues to operate despite arrests, supported by clandestine cell phones, short messages and a chain of command that spans walls, cities and states.
