Venezuelan actress Gaby Spanicknown in Brazil for playing the twins Paola and Paulina in the soap opera The usurperclaims to have suffered a million-dollar loss after ending his professional partnership with businessman André Kostta. According to her, the values linked to the work carried out in the country – including its participation in The Farm 17 and advertising campaigns — would not have been transferred, generating a loss of approximately 5 million reais. The businessman denies these accusations.
In an interview with Spectacular SundayGaby said she was convinced by Kostta to invest in her career in Brazil, with the promise of new projects on television. She said the two men signed a contract and at first payments were made regularly, but the situation allegedly changed a few weeks later.
According to the actress, whenever she asked him about unpaid amounts, the businessman reacted aggressively, creating an environment of tension. “When I started talking about money, he was in a very bad mood. He screamed and told my assistant that I was in a bad mood,” he reported.

She said she had not received payment since early September and only became aware of the scale of the problem after leaving the lockdown in The Farm 17in October, when she was kicked off the reality show for assault.
Gaby also clarified that payments for the work were made directly to André because she did not yet have a bank account in Brazil. In addition to financial problems, the actress expressed concern for her 17-year-old son, who lives in the United States, takes controlled medications and, according to her, would have been left without the support promised by the businessman during his confinement.
On the program, André denied the accusations and maintained that all the sums were paid to the actress, who did not know how to manage the money.
