
The Federal District Government (GDF) inaugurated the first Integrated Public Security Unit (UISP) this Saturday morning (13/12).
The first building is located in Block 5 of Setor Comercial Sul (SCS), in the center of the capital, and will bring together all the security forces of the Federal District in the same physical space.
The SCS zone, according to the government, has been strategically defined to accommodate around 1 million people per day.

The services and companies that will make up the unit are:
- Public Security Secretariat (SSP-DF): general coordination;
- Military Police (PMDF): operational base for open police teams;
- Civil Police (PCDF): incident and extension files from the 5th police station (Asa Norte);
- Military Fire Department (CBMDF): emergency response station and motorcycle team;
- Department of Traffic (Detran-DF): issuing photos for the national driving license and collecting biometric data.
The UISP will provide services to traders, workers, users and visitors of the SCS, with the aim of helping to reduce the feeling of insecurity.
Integrated action will also allow faster responses, sharing of strategic information and a service oriented towards the needs of the territory.
The unit will even have a video surveillance center that will operate 24 hours a day.
There are 27 cameras distributed across the SCS with license plate identification, behavior reading and integration with intelligent systems.
