The Federal District Government (GDF) published, in this Thursday’s (12/18) edition of the Official Gazette of the DF (DODF), the reopening of the tender for the expansion of the Metrô-DF in the administrative region of Ceilândia.
According to the publication, the tender process will feature a closed dispute mode and a judgment on the best combination of technique and price. The objective, according to the wording, is to hire a company or consortium of companies to prepare the engineering projects and carry out the work.

The works will take place at stations numbers 28 and 29, rectification substations numbers 15 and 16 and will also include the implementation of fixed systems related to the extension of Line 1 in the Ceilândia section of the metro.
According to the notice, proposals must be presented on the official website of the Companhia do Metropolitano do Distrito Federal, before March 5, 2026 at 10 a.m.
