Daniela Perez was only 22 years old and “the sweetheart of Brazil” when she was kidnapped on December 28, 1992. At the height of her success, she played the character Yasmin in the soap opera Of body and soulfrom TV Globo, the actress was the victim of an ambush.
The crime, which shocked the country with its brutality, was committed by his partner, Guilherme de Pádua, and his then-wife, Paula Thomaz. Daniela was taken to a wasteland in Barra da Tijuca, where she was brutally murdered and suffered 18 stab wounds.
