THE Grendene declared this Monday (29) that he had decided anticipate the publication of his first financial information report linked to sustainable development until 2026.
The company says the first report, referring to the 2025 financial year, will follow the guidelines established by CBPS Technical Statements No. 01 and No. 02, prepared based on international standards IFRS S1 and IFRS S2.
“With this initiative, Grendene reaffirms its commitment to transparency, corporate responsibility and the integration of sustainable development practices in business management,” it said in a press release.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), through Resolution 193/2023, determines that publicly traded companies must prepare and disclose sustainability-related financial information reports starting from 2026 results.
Currently, only Vale and Lojas Renner have already published their sustainability and climate-related financial information reports in advance.
