For its part, the movement which supports the protest confirmed in X the arrest of the activist for, according to them, holding a sign which read: “I support the prisoners of Palestinian Action. “I oppose genocide.” They also assured that the Aspen Insurance company, where they organized the demonstration, is an insurer of the Israeli arms company Elbit Systems.
A City of London spokesperson said two people were arrested for throwing red paint at the building.
“Shortly afterwards, a 22-year-old woman also came to the scene,” the police spokesperson said in a statement. “She was arrested for displaying an object (in this case a banner) in support of a banned organization (in this case Palestine Action), which contravenes section 13 of the Anti-Terrorism Act 2000.”
