Guillermina Valdés was focused on her next projects and visited Mirtha Legrand’s table. “Guillermo, are you rehearsing theater,” the diva began to ask him when she welcomed her into her program. With a smile on his face, Valdés replied: “I’m rehearsing a piece by (José María) Muscari and Mariela Asensio, Divorce of the Year.” Laughing, Chiqui took advantage of the comment and said, “Oh, how timely.”
Guillermina continued her story, referring to the cast of the play: “It is very controversial. I am thrilled. It is a beautiful cast, Ernestina Pais, Rochi Igarzábal, Fabián Vena, Juan Palomino. Book by Muscari and Asensio. They are two people who, as I know today, are lucky to find a lot of work. Muscari is an incredible person, as a director he is very surgical.”
It was then that Mirtha decided to praise the artist: “I saw you in Mar del Plata. You were a very good actress, I had never seen you before. Very good. For me it was a surprise.” Guillermina was grateful for Legrand’s words and said: “Thank you very much. People are surprised because they have a lot of prejudices against me.” I always have to give a little more…Sure. What do I know? Then Guillermina emphasized the parallelism between her role and her personality: “This character that I love very much and that I respect is very different from me because she is a businesswoman whose job is to create a little hype in the media about her private life and that is her trademark.”
Surprised by her guest’s statement, Mirtha asked her: “And you are like that?”, to which Valdés replied: “Of course it is something that costs me a lot because, although it may not be obvious, I have always had a little media phobia. I said: ‘Why did you get to where you got?’
At that moment Legrand was overcome by a doubt: “How long were you married to Tinelli?” Far from saying this, the actress commented: “I was not married to Marcelo, we were almost ten years old. I have four children, I had three with Sebas (Ortega) and one with Marcelo. The others are 25, 24, 20.”

I don’t deny the place that I have, but I find this character very interesting because she takes that and makes it her job, something that I would never have been able to do. She also turns it into a shell that then breaks into pieces, because in this play it’s a lot about mental health and whatever.” We leave behind when we go.
