The wife of Walter Luis Berger, a shooting club owner who died following an accidental shooting while handling a gun at his home in Paraná, used a lullaby to say goodbye to her husband. Dyovana Haubricht gave birth a month ago to her son with the weapons instructor and Brazilian tactical shooting champion. On social networks she published a series of images of the couple throughout the pregnancy and the first days of the life of little Leonardo Luís.

“Remember me. Today I have to go, remember me. Make an effort to smile. No matter the distance, I will never forget you. Singing our song, love will only grow,” says a snippet of the song that fills the video.
The incident occurred Monday afternoon. The Paraná Civil Police are investigating the causes of this accidental shooting. Among the hypotheses, investigators are looking to know if the weapon fell or if Berger, 35, could have hit the trigger.
The man, owner of the Double V Hunting and Shooting Club, Irati, in the central region of the state, was at home with his wife and some friends when he went to the bedroom to get a pistol from the safe to show it to the other man, who was also interested in the subject.
The movement was recorded by security cameras located in the living room of the house. The sound of the equipment was recorded as the gun went off in the room.
Considered new, the weapon was sent for forensic examination, as were the recordings from the room camera. There is no evidence of a crime so far. Berger was allowed to own weapons and had regular documents.
