
Several hundred people gathered this Monday afternoon at the Puerta del Sol in the capital to enjoy Live performance by Hakuna Group Music from the balcony of Real Casa de Correos. The group made up of around twenty young Catholics was the star of the Christmas program organized by the regional government at the main headquarters, a program of events which began on November 28 and continues until the 31st.
Members of Hakuna performed the Christmas carols “Today in Bethlehem” and “From Heaven” in addition to the traditional “Fish in the River” and “Bell on Bell.” The group also sang other songs from their repertoire such as “Sencillamente”, “Un Segundo” and “A ti te alabo”. All the songs were sung by hundreds of people gathered at Puerta del Sol, among whom was the regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and also the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
Hakuna has established itself in recent years as one of the reference musical groups for young Catholics. His musical journey began during World Youth Day 2013. which took place in Rio de Janeiro and since then they have accumulated thousands of followers both in Spain and in other countries around the world.
“La Puerta del Sol, kilometer 0 of the Spanish roads, It’s a celebration for life, joy and Christmas. Thank you, Hakuna,” Díaz Ayuso shared on his social networks after the concert.
