A 47-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her ex-partner, who was under house arrest, on Saturday night (29/11), in Setor de Chácaras Anhanguera, in Valparaiso de Goiás, on the outskirts of the Federal District. The man, identified as Wesley Santos, 36, was wearing an electronic ankle bracelet and tried to escape after the crime, but ended up being arrested.
After killing the women, Wesley contacted family members and confessed to killing Jane Oliveira. The suspect’s cousin contacted the military police in Goiás. When they arrived at the scene, the police heard, via loudspeaker, the man confessing the crime to his relatives: “You can rest assured, she is no longer here, she is gone.”

Wesley was located by the military hiding on the roof of the house where he was living. After being ordered to come down, he surrendered and was arrested in the property’s garage.
