
The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) maintains warnings of danger and potential danger of thunderstorms and intense rains in several regions of the country, valid until this Sunday morning (14/12). The most severe level affects the South-East and Center-West regions, with rainfall of between 50 and 100 millimeters per day, winds of up to 100 kilometers per hour and a risk of hail.
Major cities in these regions are on alert, with risks of flooding, falling trees and interruptions in electricity supplies.
In Goiás, including the center and south of the state, the alert is also for danger, with strong winds. In the Federal District, the warning is of potential danger, with intense rains and more moderate gusts, between 40 and 60 kilometers per hour.

In Paraná, the north of the state, with cities like Londrina and Maringá, is on danger alert, while the metropolitan region of Curitiba remains in potential danger, with lower wind intensity.
In the north of the country, there is a warning of intense rains in Acre, south and southwest of Amazonas, Rondônia, south of Pará and Tocantins, with a risk of flooding and electric shocks.
It is recommended to avoid flooded areas, pay particular attention to traffic and follow Civil Defense warnings.
