César Oiticica Filho, one of those responsible for the inheritance and collection of his uncle, the artist Hélio Oiticica (1937-1980), has decided to react and the case must end up in court. The controversial and talented theater director Gerald Thomas, in the program “Sem censure”, by Cissa Guimarães, on TV Brasil, said:
“I was 9 years old when Hélio fucked me, at a time when the word pedophilia did not exist.”
In fact, this is not the first time that Thomas has reported this episode. However, Oiticica Filho, who is also an artist, demands a retraction: “Hélio is not here to defend himself. And being called a pedophile is something very serious.”
