The State Secretariat for Public Security (SSP-SP) said the group had taken 23 38 caliber revolvers, 12 12 caliber shotguns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

The thieves were waiting for other employees to arrive, who were also immobilized. They used security guards’ facial recognition to gain access to the weapons room and steal the arsenal. The victims were kept in a room. No one was injured.
The theft took place around 7 a.m. this Sunday on Rua Antônio José Viveira. The case is being investigated by the 11th Police District in Santo Amaro.
