The Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda has published the second final partial resolution corresponding to the call for the 2% Cultural Program 2023, for which nearly 17 million euros are allocated to the recovery of 24 properties and the monuments of … Historical heritage.
This second resolution benefits Cultural Heritage, located in ten autonomous communities, with the following economic distribution: Andalusia, 5.11 million euros; Aragon, 679,257.79 euros; Balearic Islands, 548,428.34 euros; Castile-La Mancha, 1.76 million euros; Castile and León, 2.25 million euros; Catalonia, 4.33 million euros; Comunitat Valenciana, 168,050.75 euros; Extremadura, 73,000 euros; Region of Murcia, 599,496.11 euros; and La Rioja, 1.39 million euros.
The recovery of these 24 properties, located in ten autonomous communities, is added to the 1,249 actions already financed through this program, which the The Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda manages jointly with the Ministries of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and Cultureas well as the 57 projects recently approved in the first partial final resolution of this same call, which makes a total of 1,330 interventions financed to date by the 2% Culture Program.
In total, the General Administration of the State has invested more than 756 million euros in the recovery of heritage through the 2% Cultural aid program.
After the approval of the provisional resolution on December 21, 2024, the procedure for granting aid continued to be processed, which made it possible to approve the first and second final partial resolution. They include projects that have met the established requirements and provided on time the mandatory documentation provided for in Article 8.7 of Ordinance FOM/1932/2014, which approves the regulatory bases.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda will pay an advance for each of the actions during the 2025 financial year, for the amount included in the list, in accordance with the provisions of article 11 of the aforementioned Order FOM/1932/2014.
