Registrations will be open from December 11 to Tuesday January 13 and unlike previous sales, this time you will have to choose the matches and the number of tickets desired to participate in the draw. Once the request has been made, FIFA will contact the winners and validate the purchase of the tickets.
Registration: from December 11 to January 13
Those interested in purchasing World Cup tickets must complete their registration on the official FIFA website before January 13. Once inside, it is necessary to log in with a previously created FIFA ID and confirm personal data. The next step is to select “draw” to view a list of all 104 World Cup matches, including the opening and the grand final. Once the match is selected, three seat options will appear with different prices, according to the categories established by FIFA for all stadiums:
- Category 1: These are the most expensive tickets, located in the preferential areas of the lower stands.
- Category 2: Those with the second highest price, available in the lower and higher tiers.
- Category 3: More affordable tickets, usually at higher tiers

Entries must contain a maximum of four tickets per match and tickets may be requested for multiple matches. After selecting the desired tickets, it is necessary to add the credit card details. FIFA explains that if the request is successful, payment for tickets will be made automatically in the first days of February.
Results: as of February 6
Winning entries from the draw will be processed by FIFA from February 6, when it will begin notifying their winners. “If a request is accepted, the amount will be automatically debited from the payment card in accordance with the authorization granted,” explains the official website. Football’s governing body also emphasizes that this is a draw and therefore it does not matter when registration is completed: “The exact time at which supporters register for the draw will not affect their chances of being chosen,” FIFA said in a statement.
