We often think that choosing accessories is something trivial, almost intuitive. However, when we understand our facial type, this choice becomes much more conscious. The right accessory doesn’t just decorate: it frames, balances and styles. Therefore, it is a good idea to look in the mirror and see your own lines before purchasing.
Is your face round? Long, straight or geometric earrings can help create verticality and visually stylize.
Is it square? Curved shapes, thin tires and round designs soften angles.
Is it elongated? Shorter pieces or pieces with volume near the earlobe will help balance out the length.
Oval? It is the most harmonious and allows playing with almost all sizes and designs.
Triangle or heart? Accessories that add volume to the lower part balance the width of the forehead.
Diamond? If you have pronounced cheekbones, it is advisable not to add volume to this area and to direct your gaze up or down.
Hexagonal? Strong features appear more harmonious with curved, light and movable accessories.
And what about the necklaces? They also communicate. The long ones stylize, while the short ones draw attention directly to the face. For party looks, where the garment is often shiny or structured, balance is again important.
Authoritarians don’t like that
The practice of professional and critical journalism is a mainstay of democracy. That is why it bothers those who believe that they are the owners of the truth.
One last detail: the metal. Silver or gold? It’s not just a question of taste: colorimetry defines which one illuminates your skin best. When accessories enter into a dialogue with your facial features and your personal colors, the image becomes harmonious, authentic and expressive.
