During his testimony, Hetalo stated that he was surprised by the allegations and said that their content only depicted daily life in the suburbs and the choreography associated with Briga Funk. He stated that he felt uncomfortable about being investigated.
“I’m even a little embarrassed that I’ve done so much for these kids, so much for these teenagers who are put here in the files and have to answer…but it hurts me, it hurts me so much,” he said. He then confirmed that he did not produce sexual material:
“I have never recorded videos that contain pornographic or sexual scenes… For people in the suburbs, this is art.”
Charge of exploitation
According to the Public Prosecution, the defendants posted videos of young people dancing, and some of them even lived in the couple’s home, in a residential apartment in Bayo, João Pessoa urban area. The agency confirms that the materials disclosed constitute exploitation.
At the hearing, the prosecutor asked whether Hetalo had noticed comments suggesting a sexual interpretation of the videos. He replied that because of the volume of interactions, he did not follow everything. He said: “There were up to 20,000 comments, 30,000 comments… and the majority depended on the strength of each character.”
The influencer also said that he did not receive payments from the platforms and that his income came from approved ads and sweepstakes. When asked about the teenagers’ wages, he said: “The parents felt, but not out of obligation, not by agreement, that I had the right to do it for them.”

He remembers
The case gained notoriety after influencer Felca posted a video criticizing the “puberty” of minors online, prompting GAECO to request the couple’s arrest. They were detained in São Paulo and transferred to Paraíba. The release request was denied. The defense claims there is no record of pornography in the videos:
“They may be seen as lustful, but the law does not criminalize the lustful act… and pornographic material is not shown,” said lawyer Sean Combier-Aviv.
In addition to this operation, Hetalo and Israel are also responding to the action taken by the Ministry of Public Labor, which accuses it of trafficking in persons for sexual exploitation and subjecting minors to degrading conditions. The process is still ongoing.

In an excerpt from the statement made by Fantastico, Hetalo Santos appeared in tears when commenting on the impact of the accusations on his reputation. “I will never be free again from what they did to my image,” he declared. “Wherever I go now I am seen as a pedophile, as an aggressor, as a deviant.”
