“I feel much less stress”

-We filmed in Belem (Pennsylvania), in amazing locations with many scenes on the boat. It’s a story with a lot of folklore and culture, but also love, mystery and a little suspense. I actually worked with Roger on the feature film “I, Nirvana,” in which I played a completely different character. It was great to meet him again in a completely opposite register.

The actress, who has just turned 31, has been living in Barcelona for five years. She says that the decision to move to another country came intuitively:

– She always listened to my intuition a lot, and one day she said to me: “You should go and live in Spain.” I said, “But are you crazy? I don’t even speak Spanish.” But I had always loved Spanish cinema, so I started taking lessons and studying, and things started flowing. Everything was fine and the roads were open for me to come. I decided to try to see what happened.

She says her routine has completely changed since her move:

– My routine in Brazil was always very hectic, moving from one job to another, from one category to another. Here I can live a more peaceful life. I feel much less stress. It’s not that the world has ever asked a lot of me, but I’m someone who asks a lot of myself. Here, I can charge myself much less. I go to yoga classes, to the gym, and I work out, but I try to take things more slowly.

Carolina is also expanding her professional experiences in Spain. I opened a marketing agency:

– I am a very curious person, so I like to study and discover new things, and this takes me down different paths. I started acting when I was very young, when I was 9 years old, so I ended up not having enough time to explore other areas. Obviously I’m still an actress, but I’ve been exploring other things in parallel. Marketing is a field that I really love. I create content, produce and creative direction for some brands.

At the same time, she is taking a training course to become a professional in the field of Gestalt therapy, an approach to psychology.

– I have been going to therapy for many years and I believe that it is, above all, very beneficial for my acting career, because it helps me understand characters from another point of view. I haven’t finished training yet. There are three years of training and I have just finished the first year. I love him.
