He … Goal didn’t want to come out last summerwhen Sevilla FC also negotiated with the A Coruña club, but they made things easy when this winter market arrived, aware that they had no place in this new stage of the team.
Álvaro didn’t want to leave Seville without saying goodbye and he did it through his social networks. A message in which he regrets his departure, but in which he shows the “pride of having played for a great team in Spain”.
The full message says the following:
“Stories don’t always turn out the way we imagine them.
I arrived at @sevillafc with enthusiasm, work and the desire to grow by defending this objective. I had the opportunity to compete, to feel what this club is from the inside and also to experience moments where I had to wait and continue working in silence.
Every step leaves learning and this one was no different. Sevilla was part of my formation as a footballer and a person and today it is time to end a period that I really enjoyed. I have many experiences under my belt and the honor of having played for a great team in Spain.
Thanks to Sevillismo for allowing me to be part of their story, it’s amazing to play Pizjuán. Thank you to all the club employees, the board of directors, teammates and coaches with whom I shared this stage.
I wish you the best and I will encourage you from afar.«
