Sharon Osbourne and her daughter Kelly posted a tribute to musician Ozzy Osbourne on Wednesday on the day the legendary Black Sabbath singer turned 77. The artist died on July 22 of heart failure at his home in Buckinghamshire, just two weeks after playing a farewell show with former band members in Birmingham.

Sharon wrote in a post on Instagram:
-Dear husband, I am celebrating the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side.
Kelly also referenced her father when sharing family photos:
– happy birthday! I miss you dad! I love you more than life itself!
The son of musician Jack Osbourne was unable to speak on networks because he is participating in the reality show “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”, in Australia. Last month, Sharon was photographed for the first time since her husband’s funeral, showing visible emotion. She had publicly thanked her fans for the “tremendous love and support” she received following the rocker’s death, and said she was “still healing” after the loss.
Ozzy had been facing health issues in recent years, exacerbated by a fall in 2019 at the family home. This incident accelerated his physical deterioration and required constant care. In a recent documentary, which followed the last three years of the musician’s life, Kelly recounted the difficulty of watching her father’s health decline and the impact it had on Sharon:
– I think what happens to my mother is the most painful part of all of this. It is very difficult to see the man you love so much away.
