Governor Ibaneis Rocha (MDB) inaugurated this Saturday morning (13/12) the new building of the Attorney General’s Office of the Federal District (PGDF). The building will be located on Buriti Square.
Designed by architect Eliane Rangel Silveira, who died in March this year, the building will be named after Deputy Attorney General of the Federal District, Marlon Tomazzete, who died on November 21.

During the ceremony, Ibaneis defined the inauguration as a day of great joy and emphasized that the building could further redefine the important role of the Attorney General’s Office of the Federal District.
“The staff of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, alongside the staff of audit, accounting and economics, are for me the most important. Without the Public Prosecutor’s Office you would not be able to manage the Federal District at all,” he said.
During the inauguration, the governor also honored and presented medals to the families of the project architect and the deputy attorney general, in a moment of agitation.
