Ibanes promises to regularize rural areas in the Federal District by 2026

The Governor of the Federal District (GDF), Ibanes Rocha (MDB), promised to complete the regularization of all rural areas by the end of 2026. The head of the executive made this statement during a meeting with businessmen on Wednesday (3/12).

According to him, the Government of the Federal District (GDF) has established a specific structure to facilitate and accelerate land regularization in the countryside.

The Rural Land Regulatory Company (ETR) was responsible for collecting data and census of rural areas, which allowed, within about a year, 1,800 title deeds to be delivered to owners in these areas.

“When creating this ETR company, I said that it has an expiration date and the expiration date should be as quick as possible, so that all families residing in the rural areas of the Federal District can receive their bonds,” Ibanes said.

The governor participated in the opening of the 5th Brasilia Exhibition organized by LIDE.

Ibanes stressed that the participation of the Legislative Council of the Federal District (CLDF) in this process allowed for the creation of “safe” legislation so that regulation would be possible.

“We have assembled a very prepared team. We have prepared legislation that is very modern and accessible to both small and large producers,” he said.

He added that with the availability of documents, most farmers are now able to finance machinery and equipment and expand production. The goal, he said, is to end this process “as quickly as possible and provide peace in the countryside.”

According to the governor, DF has huge rural potential. Imedipista pointed out that rural fairs generate millions of reais, including 4 billion Brazilian reais.

In addition to regulation, the Agricultural Development Fund has also launched other projects to support rural production, such as production methods, such as cheese.
