In this scenario, the Minas Gerais deputy estimated, according to information, that another right-wing name should gain space: the current governor of Paraná, Ratinho Júnior (PSD), who is positioning himself as a possible presidential candidate.
Nikolas predicts, according to his allies, that the governor of Paraná would be more competitive than Flávio Bolsonaro, because he benefits from the help of his father, the presenter Carlos Roberto Massa, known as Ratinho.

Nikolas’ assessment, according to information obtained by the Chronicle, is that the SBT presenter can help attract support from the most popular classes for his son’s candidacy for Planalto.
What Nikolas said in public
Contacted by the Chronicle, Nikolas made no comment. Publicly, the Minas Gerais MP declared that his father’s choice of Flávio as candidate represents a gesture towards “national pacification.”
“Bolsonaro chose Flávio for the next conflict. Some only look at the elections… but those who sense Brazil know that there is something bigger at stake. This decision implies an urgent demand for national pacification. The country can no longer bear to live divided, families destroyed, innocent people behind bars while politics becomes a scene of persecution,” Nikolas wrote on social media.
