
We are in a time of many plane trips to spend Christmas with family, and traveling with children This can be particularly problematic for some people.
But there are ways to help you pass the time. Concretely, there is one element in particular that could help things go well, according to an American flight attendant. Brittney Thompson.
In the statements collected by the Daily Mailand after 12 years of experience flight, learned several ways to facilitate family travel.
Brittney Thompson advises parents to bring their child’s car seat with them on the plane. “My son feels more comfortable when he knows his surroundings, that’s why he prefers us to use his car seat on the plane,” explains the flight attendant.
Airlines have their own policies regarding carrying a child car seat. Ryanairfor example, allows the use of car seats, but only if they face forward.
“You can bring a car seat for a baby or child on board if is allowed to fly” specifies the Irish airline, which also details the measurements and type of seat.
The airline also requires that the car seat be “of a type approved for use in motor vehicles and airplanes” and have labels stating that it is “Certified for use in motor vehicles and airplanes” if you are American, or “European standard mark.”
