But Brenes and the same month of Octoberwas also the scene of a police deployment, with the participation of special group agents. a man had barricaded himself and armed himself in an apartment in the municipality, hidden by a friend, who, by chance, is waiting to sit in the dock for the assault on María del Monte’s cottage. The barricaded man was the main suspect in the shooting death of an individual, a nightclub bouncer, in a house on Calle Real de Utrera in Two sisters. The suspected murderer fled the house and left a trail of blood behind him.
The homicidal activity in Seville, from the end of August until October, was worrying. The most notable case of the year, due to the number of victims it left, is that which occurred in Urbanization Los Nietos of Carmona on Saturday, September 6, five o’clock in the afternoon. A shooting, with a rifle, in the bar of the said residential complex, located at the foot of the A-4 motorway, ended the lives of the owner of the premises and a customer. And he left another client seriously injured, who could not overcome the injuries caused by the bullets and died a month later. Barely twenty-four hours passed when the Civil Guard arrested the two accused of this triple crime, who were hiding in the capital. The father of one of them had a house in Los Nietos, so he was known to the neighbors.
The impact of gender-based violence
Brenes suffered three murders, three people died in Los Nietos and three sexist crimes Seville deplored in the second part of this year 2025.
