Crias do Ninho will play a competitive match with the championship surprise, which will take place at the Libertadores, and will guarantee a 3-3 draw
In a six-goal match, Flamengo’s under-20s drew 3-3 against Mirassol, in Maião, on the final day of the 2025 Brazilian Championship. After clinching the title and with an eye on the Intercontinental, Rubro-Negro filled the nets with Douglas Telles and Guilherme Costa (2). The surprise of the competition maintained its invincibility as a local team leaving everything the same with Chico Kim, Alesson and Cristian and preparing to compete in the Libertadores in 2026.
Leão thus ends his first season in Serie A in historic fashion, with a place in the group stage of the continental tournament, fourth, with 67 points. Rubro-Negro, in turn, turns its attention to the Intercontinental Cup. After all, the team, which finished the Brasileirão with 79 points, will take the field on Wednesday (10), against Cruz Azul (MEX), in the quarterfinals, in Doha, Qatar.
Equality on the scoreboard
After 7′, the red and black under-20s took the advantage in the middle of Maião. After a cross from the right, Guilherme Gomes deflected and hit Walter’s post. Then, on the rebound, Douglas Teles gave a firm kick to open the scoring and highlight the star.
In another great chance, Douglas Telles left Michael in front of goal, but the striker wasted the opportunity and showed the keeper a yellow card. The home team then rejoined the match and leveled the score. Felipe Jonathan, with a nice heel pass, left Chico Kim free to fill the net.
With a very busy match, Evertton Araújo stole the ball in midfield and played against Wallace Yan with a beautiful throw. However, the attacker tried to hit Walter’s exit, but could not be effective. Chico Kim almost scored the second for Mirassol, but Dyogo Alves deflected it wide.
Two more goals
The first half was very busy. After the game, Guilherme Gomes received the ball at the edge of the area, adjusted his body to throw the bomb into the corner and extend Flamengo’s goal.
However, Mirassol responded quickly again. Chico Kim appeared deep and crossed low to Alesson. The player received the ball without any marking and scored a goal without any chance for Dyogo Alves.
Competitive showdown
Coming back from the breakaway, Negueba tried from afar, but stopped at Dyogo Alves. Then Flamengo responded with Douglas Telles, who got past Luiz Otávio and finished with a superb save from Walter.
However, it was Rubro-Negro who widened the network once again. Douglas Telles crossed at the far post for Wallace Yan’s header. Walter cut first, but the ball was left for Guilherme Gomes to score. For his part, Carlos Eduardo had a good individual game and finished for the defense of Dyogo Alves. On the rebound, Cristian stretched to push the ball into the yellow goal.
After the goal, Mirassol had two good chances. Danielzinho hit the corner and the ball went very close. A few minutes later, Lucas Ramon headed towards the backline on the right and crossed the box. Felipe Jonatan finished first and knocked the paint off the post. Finally, the red and black goalkeeper made a good save by stretching out his leg after Cristian’s shot.
