The heavy rains that hit Águas Lindas de Goiás caused flooding on the main avenue of the Águas Lindas II neighborhood this Tuesday (16/2).
A video recorded by residents shows a car being swept away by water after heavy rains in the area.
In the images, the driver abandons the vehicle in the middle of the completely flooded road and begins swimming to cross the flooded section.
In a statement, the Águas Lindas town hall said that after 6 p.m. the water had already drained and the flooding had stopped, with only a large amount of mud remaining on the road. According to the municipal administration, teams were called to assess the situation.
