I love her very much, she has always been very supportive of me. She and her sister,” he said after signing the book at the Corte Inglés on Goya Street.
As a result, Debray excused the brevity of the infanta’s stay, who was then arriving on a trip. “She is a very loyal person and a charming woman”he underlined before thanking the “support” of the Infanta during her visits to Madrid, “as a friend and as a daughter of the king”.
Likewise, the author commented on the reception of the book, which sold 40,000 copies in the first five days since it went on sale in Spain: “Compared to the criticisms that have been made in the media, I have the impression that people want to know more, to have their own impression, to read it. I am delighted”, she declared. The book is now in its fifth edition, which the publisher has described as “historical figures.”
A massive signature for all ages
