Absent from the field since November due to a muscle injury in his right thigh, defender Gabriel Magalhães has made the news in England for another reason. According to The Sun newspaper, the Brazilian player was involved in a violent argument during a football match in which he did not even participate.
The Arsenal defender was invited to attend the friendly match in Peckham, south London, organized by Botafogo supporters. However, the confrontation ended prematurely after an argument between Gabriel Magalhães and one of the players.
The player from one of the teams suffered a violent tackle and found himself on the ground writhing in pain. The incident caused Gabriel Magalhães to run towards the shot and argue with the person responsible for the foul. The video obtained by The Sun shows the defender wearing a black cap and sweatshirt berating the athlete in Portuguese.
