Joana and Yngrid Piauí, with two goals each, shone during the rout of Colorado
The Gurias Coloradas guaranteed their presence in the semi-finals of the Copa São Paulo Feminina 2025 with a gala performance against the Corinthians. This Saturday afternoon (13), at CERET, the Gurias Coloradas won 4-1, in a duel valid for the quarter-finals of the competition.
The leaderboard started to build from the first half, with Joana as the highlight. The striker found the net twice, in the 7th and 20th minutes, giving the Rio Grande do Sul team peace of mind. In the complementary phase, Yngrid Piauí increased the advantage with two consecutive goals, in the 30th and 32nd minutes, thus consolidating Colorado’s superiority. Corinthians only scored 42 minutes into the second half, thanks to Rafa Rocha.
With this result, Internacional reached 10 points from four matches played – including the group stages and the round of 16 – thus maintaining their unbeaten record in the competition. The campaign included three wins and a draw, as well as impressive numbers: 18 goals scored and just three conceded.
According to the Women’s Cup regulations, semi-final clashes are defined by the overall performance of the teams. Thus, Inter, owner of one of the best campaigns, will face Flamengo in the next phase. On the other side of the table, Grêmio and Santos will compete for a place in the final.
The semi-finals of the São Paulo Women’s Cup 2025 will take place on December 16 and 17, while the final will take place on the 20th, at the Pacaembu Arena.
