19-year-old influencer remains in serious condition in intensive care after complications from pneumonia
Joelson Velosofather of the digital influencer Isabelle Velososhared on social networks a new prayer dedicated to his daughter, who remains hospitalized in serious condition in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Erasto Gaertner Hospital, in Curitiba. At age 19, Isabel was diagnosed with severe pneumonia, an illness that quickly compromised her lungs and overall health. Recently, she was sent back to her room, but her condition deteriorated further, necessitating her return to intensive care.
In his post, Joelson revealed his sense of hope and faith over the delicate situation. He wrote:
“Lord, with humility I ask you: look at my daughter with your eyes of love. Ease her pain, calm her body and strengthen her soul… Have mercy, Lord. Be a refuge in anguish, a comfort in fear and a healing in the impossible. I surrender to you, trusting in your timing and in your will. Amen.”
The message was shared alongside a moving image in which he holds his daughter’s hand, demonstrating the strength of the family bond and the deep concern of a father who does everything possible to support his daughter in this time of crisis.
In a magazine interview WHOJoelson detailed the severity of Isabel’s situation, stating that she is intubated and unconscious, and even had bleeding in her lungs. “She is intubated, unconscious, she was bleeding in her lungs. Isabel has already been given better medicine. They have done tests, but we are waiting for the results. Her condition is serious. Now is the time to pray and trust,” declared. The words show the family’s efforts to cope with the situation, trying to balance hope and reality of the influencer’s delicate clinical condition.
Admission to intensive care and husband’s outburst
The Erasto Gaertner hospital, where Isabel is hospitalized, published a medical bulletin last Friday (5) specifying that the influencer “remains under complete, specialized and uninterrupted supervision, strictly following care protocols.” The institution has strengthened continuous care and special attention to the patient, ensuring that all medical measures are taken to stabilize her condition.
About that, Lucas Borbahusband of Isabel and father of the couple’s son, Arthur11 months old, shared a moving story last Saturday (6), his birthday. He spoke about the emotional distress he has faced since his wife was hospitalized, acknowledging the pressure and external judgments that come with family challenges. “Despite the emotional exhaustion, I have a bigger goal, which is our son. For the little one, I have to stay strong”he declared.
