The Technical Commission of Referees has announced the referees for the matches which will be played this Sunday corresponding to the 16th day of the First Division championship. The meeting between Seville and Oviedo will be arbitrated by Isidro Diaz de Mera Escudero … . Raúl González will be on the VAR.
This is the second time this season that the Castellano-Manchego Commission referee has been appointed for a Sevilla team match in La Liga. The previous time took place at the end of August, during the second day of the championship. Díaz de Mera Escudero was the referee of the match between Seville and Getafe at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán which ended with the result of 1-2.
On the contrary, it is the first time this season that Díaz de Mera Escudero has been appointed to referee an Oviedo match. So far, the Castellano-Manchego Committee referee has ruled eight matches of the first division championship 25-26.
The match between Sevilla and Oviedo at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium will take place from 2:00 p.m.
