The Israeli army launched a wave of bomb attacks against “structures” of the Shiite militia Hezbollah in several areas in southern Lebanon early on Tuesday morning (December 9, 2025), a statement said.
Additionally, Israel claims in its note that it attacked a “training and qualification complex” used by Radwan, Hezbollah’s elite force, which was used to “train the organization’s terrorists to plan and carry out terrorist activities against Israeli troops and civilians.”
“As part of the training in the complex, the terrorists conducted target practice and additional training in the use of various types of weapons,” the army statement said.
In this sense, Israel considers that “the targets attacked and the military training carried out in preparation against the State of Israel constitute a violation of the agreements between Israel and Lebanon.”
“The army will continue to work to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel,” he concluded.
Although the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon took place only a year ago, bombings have been particularly intense and have been occurring almost daily for weeks in Lebanese territory, where the Israeli army still maintains positions near the border.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s government justifies these bombings by saying that Shiite militias are trying to rearm.
