“it’s time for the ship to land”

This is the t-shirt of the “Suvaco do Cristo” block, from the Jardim Botânico, which will hold its last parade at the next carnival, after 40 years of good service rendered to the Rio festivities. João Avelleira, founder and president, says that “the time has come for this ship to dock after 40 years, proud to have contributed to the revitalization of the street carnival”.
