Motta ordered the closure of TV Câmara to hide police violence against Glauber, parliamentarians and journalists
By Jefferson Miola, on his blog
The President of the Chamber Hugo Motta ordered to turn off TV Câmara and block journalists’ access to the Plenary to hide the violence of the Legislative Police against deputy Glauber Braga, other parliamentarians and press professionals.
Motta ordered repressive police action to put an end to Deputy Glauber’s individual and peaceful political protest at the House table.
Glauber’s protest was just and legitimate. He was protesting against Motta’s scandalous decision to include on the voting agenda the revocation of his mandate as well as the dismissal of Carla Zambelli, as well as the vote on the amnesty project disguised as a sentence reduction for Bolsonaro and his fellow putschists.
The comparison between the Glauber and Zambelli cases is yet another unacceptable scoundrel from Motta.
Glauber was subjected to a Kafkaesque trial after defending his ailing mother against attacks by an MBL activist.
Arthur Lira, Motta’s guardian, took advantage of the circumstance to retaliate and persecute the PSOL deputy for denouncing the corrupt secret budget scheme coordinated by the former Speaker of the House.
Zambelli, on the other hand, is a criminal on the run from justice. She was criminally convicted by the STF for undermining the judiciary and making armed threats.
Motta commits crimes of responsibility in the cases of the fugitive Bolsonarista and Alexandre Ramagem, because he avoids automatically declaring the loss of mandate, as provided for in Article 55 of the Constitution, in sections III and IV.

The attitude of the President of the House towards Glauber was very different from the one he adopted during the gregarious movement of the Bolsonaro horde which closed the Chamber of Deputies and prevented it from functioning for 48 hours for not having accepted the house arrest of Bolsonaro decreed by the Supreme Court at the beginning of last August.
The closure of the House by the Bolsonarists who remain unpunished is serious, this only happened under the military dictatorshipand characterizes an attack on democracy and legislative functioning.
In explaining the episode, Motta blatantly lied. He justified the brutality against parliamentarians and journalists by saying he “adopted the protocol” and “respected the rules.”
Hugo Motta abandons his disguises. The President of the House seeks to balance himself by simulating the equidistance between government and opposition, while in reality he acts in a factional manner, as operator of the Bolsonarista and fascist agendas and coordinator of the electoral campaign of his co-religionist Tarcísio de Freitas, of the Republican Party.
After having financed the defeat of the OIF to protect the super rich, the PEC da Bandidagem and the disfigurement of the PL Antifaction, Motta articulated himself with the right payment of the price of Flávio Bolsonaro’s candidacy with the partial amnesty PL disguised as a reduced sentence.
Motta never met the conditions to preside over the House. He is a minor and ridiculous character, guided by Eduardo Cunha and Arthur Lira in the process of weakening the government and building Tarcísio’s candidacy for the presidency.
