Singer Joaquín Levinton, leader of the band Turf, suffered an acute heart attack in the early hours of Friday while in a bar in Palermo and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Fernández Hospital.
The 50-year-old artist was in a bar on the corner of Dorrego and Conde in Colegiales when he felt severe chest pain. Therefore, an ambulance was called, and upon arriving at the scene of the accident, doctors examined him and decided to transfer him to the above-mentioned health center.
Some studies were conducted there that confirmed that Levinton had suffered an acute heart attack. In this sense, the head of SAME, Alberto Crescenti, pointed out that “the hemodynamics team of the Fernández Hospital carried out the procedure, the blockage in one of the arteries was revealed and this man is out of danger.”
