The board of directors of the Macarena brotherhood, gathered during its first office meeting held the day after the inauguration, accepted that José Carlos Gutiérrez Romero is the new locker room of the Lord of Sentence and … of the Macarena, while Miguel Fernández Carrasco will be responsible for adorning Our Lady of the Rosary.
Two lodges in the brotherhood. José Carlos Gutiérrez Romero, originally from Jerez, is responsible for dressing the relevant devotions of the aforementioned city such as the owners of the Transport or the Yedra, while Miguel Fernández Carrasco carries out his work in Seville as a dresser of images such as the Virgin of Loreto of San Isidoro, the Virgin of Health of San Isidoro, the Virgin of the Incarnation of Barzola, the Virgin of the Merced de las Mercedarias, the Virgin of the Pillar of San Pedro or others like the Virgin of Grace of Almadén de la Plata or the Divina Pastora of Alcalá de Guadaíra, a young Macareno.
So, Jose Manuel Lozano, who carried out locker room work for members of the Macarena brotherhood over the last ten years, will not continue to play this role after the meeting of the government council chaired by Fernando Fernández Cabezuelo.
On the other hand, the brotherhood accepted the nomination of María Isabel Gil-Delgado Queralt as an honorary waitress; of Ana del Peso Sainz de la Maza, Dolores Vázquez Lora and Rosa Maria Arcos Lavado as waitresses of María Santísima de la Esperanza Macarena; of Mercedes Moron Laguillo as a waitress at Notre-Dame du Rosaire; and Teresa Manosalbas Gonzalez as altar maid.
Likewise, they were designated José González Jiménez, Manuel Lora González and Miguel Ángel González-Cabañas García as servants of the Lord of Sentence, while Lilia Kiryukhina assumes the responsibility of director of the polyphonic choir and the Esperanza Macarena choir.
