Last Sunday I read the letter of the week in the ABC-XLSEMANAL supplement … And I was struck by the author’s opinion that in Spain we think about things too quickly, without stopping to see what those thoughts contain.
We have gotten into the habit of thinking so quickly about what really interests us that we have given up the ability to think on these questions. And without thinking, we cannot order and connect ideas, thoughts or arguments in order to reach the best conclusion before making decisions.
Not to mention that the ability to think is what truly differentiates us from the rest of the animals. In many other areas, these animals that we call irrational They give us deep soups.
Seeing what we see, hear or read, I come to the conclusion that in Spain we are not only losing the ability to think, but we are abandoning the ability to think. And that’s where I say to myself if this isn’t an opportunity for those who want to change things and do them well.
That is, for that company that is capable of leading change in the way of doing things as Spain requires. And that’s when I think of Cordoba. I comment once again with my readers on the value that is part of La “La Crátera” gastronomic and cultural meeting.
