A year after the conviction of Juan Darthés, accused of sexually abusing Thelma Fardin, the actor rebuilt his life in Brazil, where he settled.
There he is serving a six-year prison sentence in the semi-open regime. This is an alternative that is usually available in Brazil for people who do not have a criminal record to enable them to work or study. But at night they have to return to prison.
These are exits that are monitored with electronic anklets. The emphasis is on good behavior because if the inmate adheres to it, he or she can receive more benefits.
So Darthés started studying and already received his degree: “They were surprised by some pictures that appeared of Juan Darthés after seven years of complaint from Thelma Fardín,” they said on television, adding: “He studied there with his wife in Brazil and received his degree.”
Then they added: “Very little is known about him, what he does, what his life is like there.” He took a tertiary course, but it is not known exactly, it has not been elaborated upon. They also didn’t want to provide any information about what was received.”
Finally, they pointed out on the small screen: “He turned to religion. He went to a church, he turned heavily to the gospel.”
