In view of the leadership of Missão, an acronym created in 2025 by the Movimento Brasil Livre, Kim Kataguiri (União-SP) questioned the President of the House, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), on the criteria for creating this position.
The request was presented by the deputy from São Paulo on December 10 and is based on the leadership of the Novo Party, which failed, in 2022, to elect five deputies for the party, a condition for its creation.

On this occasion, Novo elected three deputies. Today, it has five parliamentarians, after the arrivals of Luiz Lima (RJ) and Ricardo Salles (SP).
Kataguiri wonders precisely about the case of a party having not elected any deputy, but starting to have members after the elections. He will join Missão during the next festive window, between March 6 and April 5.

The deputy also wonders if, in the event that the creation of a leadership is authorized, it would be entitled to its own seat, structure or positions, as happened with the Novo Party.
“The aim of this consultation is to guarantee the correct application of the Internal Regulations and the rules relevant to the organization of party leadership in this Chamber,” Kataguiri specifies in the request.
