Good morning. We begin the story of political news this Tuesday, marked by the start of the last plenary session of the year in Congress, the first without the presence of José Luis Ábalos, imprisoned at the end of November, and with doubt about his possibility of voting electronically. This will also serve to verify the support that the government enjoys, after the attempt to restore relations with Junts announced by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez. During this Tuesday’s session, initiatives aimed, among other objectives, at promoting the use of co-official languages or supporting families in the face of rising food prices will be debated, but PP and Vox will also return to the plenary session to condemn the State Attorney General to demand from Justice measures guaranteeing the independence of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. During the three days of plenary session, the path to stability, the deficit and debt objectives, another of the preliminary stages for the preparation of budgets, or the increase in civil servants’ salaries and a decree-law with economic measures promised to Junts will also be voted on.
