
Two people died in a serious road accident recorded this Friday morning (12/26), on the GO-147 highway, between the municipalities of Bela Vista de Goiás and Piracanjuba (GO). The collision occurred around 10 a.m., at km 119.
One of the fatal victims was lawyer and family law specialist Talita Moura, who was driving a Fiat Strada. The other vehicle involved was a Ford Fiesta, driven by an elderly man. According to information from firefighters, when they arrived on the scene, teams found four victims.
A woman who witnessed the accident spoke on social media of the despair she felt immediately after the collision. According to testimony, the driver of the Fiesta repeatedly said it was his fault. According to the report, the old man was very shaken and asked God to take care of his three-year-old granddaughter, who was also in the car, accompanied by her grandmother.

“It was right in front of me. I stopped to help him. He said he wasn’t going to resist and I asked him to calm down saying everything would be okay,” the witness said.
The survivors – the elderly man, woman and child – were rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and transported to the Piracanjuba Municipal Hospital, all in serious condition.
After rescuing the victims, firefighters cleaned the track and applied sawdust to prevent further accidents. The section remained isolated for technical expertise work. Military police confirmed they were on scene to seal off the area and assist with road safety.
The causes of the accident are still under investigation.
