Earlier, in a video recorded alongside his father, João Guilherme said he was used by his mother as an “engagement item” and said he even ran away from her home during a visit. The young man also claimed to have been assaulted by a nurse hired by his mother, who allegedly gave him a “rear naked choke”.

Everything explained
Enthusiastic, Letícia Birkheuer reacted to the heir’s speeches and said that he was a victim of parental alienation on the part of his father. The actress explained what prompted the custody dispute over her son. “He was going to spend a weekend in São Paulo, he had a car accident with his father, they almost died, there was even a rollover,” he remembers.
“And the father omitted in the police report that my son was in the accident. From that moment I decided to go to court, and that’s when all the martyrdom that I live until today began,” he emphasized. Letícia also said her ex-husband failed to comply with a court order requiring him to perform new toxicology tests.
Then, the artist spoke about the change that João Guilherme has experienced in recent years. “My son started being alienated by his father while he was still living with me, he started becoming an aggressive child, not obeying, doing things at school, and things started becoming unbearable in my house.”
Letícia Birkheuer recalled that João then expressed his interest in going to live with his father. The actress allowed it, thinking it might improve the relationship between them. “He began to no longer want to come see me in Rio de Janeiro. The father does not comply with all the court decisions, the judge set a fine and this fine amounts to more than R$300,000,” he said.

Aggression refused
Shaken, the actress said she rarely saw her son: “In a year and a half, I saw my son once,” cried Letícia. “It is very painful to say these things, but I am obliged to tell the truth.” She then explained that she had hired a nurse to help her, but there had been no assault.
“I hired a nurse to accompany the visit, I have a psychiatric report which said that would be the best option. As soon as he returned home, he rushed into an avenue, risking being run over. The nurse ran after him to arrest him. Two police officers witnessed everything and testified at the police station.”
According to the actress, the escape was arranged between the young man and his father, who was waiting for his son nearby. “This nurse did not hurt João, he simply held him. What João reports in the video is a lie, there was no exchange of blows,” he said.
In conclusion, Letícia regretted having spent another Christmas away from her son: “I raised my son alone for 11 years in Rio de Janeiro, and today he doesn’t come to see me. It hurts a lot for a mother. It’s another Christmas without my son, because it would be my Christmas with him.”
